Colours, paper and liqueds are my primary tools for exploration. I investigate water as an element; it is out of my control, it is in my control, and somewhere in between this my art develops.
It is a tension and a connection. It is energy and tactility.
In 2012 I met a very wise elder woman who turned my attention towards connectivity, and how we are all able to make changes by iteration, disruptions and displacements step by step.
My manifesto is that we are all connected, not as the centre or in the centre, but rather as a big open hole. This connectivity is in our control and out of our control – and somewhere in the midst of this I believe meaning is created.
